Yuval Shemla (יובל שמלא) is a competitive climber and one of the greatest ninja athletes in Israel. He competed in the first four Ninja Israel seasons and stood out there by becoming the Last Man Standing in three out of the four seasons in which he participated. In Ninja Israel 1, he was the only competitor in that season who managed to clear Stage Three. Because of that, Israel is the second international country besides Japan and Indonesia, in which Final Stage was touched in the first season of their Ninja Warrior/SASUKE format. In Ninja Israel 4, he became the first ever competitor in Ninja Israel to achieve Total Victory. In Ninja Israel 5, after retiring as competitor of the show, he joined the hosts team and became one of the announcers.

Ninja Israel 1[]
Shemla is known for his performance in Ninja Warrior Israel, in which he became the only competitor who cleared Stage Three and was given a chance to climb Mount Midoriyama (Final Stage). He almost finished climbing on time but pressed the buzzer two seconds late. Due to him being the only competitor who cleared Stage Three, he was declared as the Last Man Standing of the competition, granting him an SUV.
Ninja Israel 2[]
Shemla returned in Ninja Warrior Israel 2, hoping to clear Final Stage this time. He made it to the finals again. However, this time he didn't clear Stage One after failing the last obstacle of the stage, Salmon Ladder.
Ninja Israel 3[]
Shemla returned again in Ninja Warrior Israel 3. This time he successfully cleared Stage One and Stage Two. However, he failed the last obstacle in Stage Three, Flying Bar. However, he came the furthest and the fastest, so he was declared as the Last Man Standing for the second time, granting him another SUV.
Ninja Israel 4[]
Shemla returned in Ninja Warrior Israel 4 and stated that this would be his last participation, no matter what the final result. In his heat, he managed to complete Mega Wall and tried the Super Salmon Ladder. There, he became the first competitor who completed Super Salmon Ladder in Ninja Israel (his clear time was 01:12.20), but later got beaten by Eshed Atzmon, with Atzmon beating Shemla's clear time by half a minute, so Shemla didn't win the 100,000 NIS cash prize. In the Finals of the season, he was one out of the three competitors who managed to clear Stage One, Stage Two and Stage Three, and reached the Final Stage (Mount Midoriyama). This time, Shemla managed to press the buzzer in time (4 seconds left) and became the first competitor in Ninja Israel to achieve Total Victory. At the end of the day, Shemla also completed the Final Stage faster than the other Final Stage conqueror of the season, Yogev Malka, so he was declared as the Last Man Standing for the third time in his career, granting him not only another SUV, but also a cash prize of 250,000 NIS for completing the Final Stage (Mount Midoriyama).

Shemla when he was the announcer in Ninja Warrior Israel 5
After his Total Victory in Ninja Warrior Israel 4, Shemla retired and later joined the hosts team of Ninja Israel and became one of the announcers in Ninja Warrior Israel 5. As such, he became the first competitor to both participate in and announce in Ninja Israel.
He stood on the top of Final Stage tower to give the competitors some motivation and morale boost to complete the Final Stage tower, as Assi Azar did so in Ninja Warrior Israel 4. He also awarded medal and trophy for his rival, Ninja Israel 5's Grand Champion Yogev Malka, who previously became Total Victory in the previous season but lost the chance to become the winner of that season to Shemla.
