World Cup (ワールドカップ) was an obstacle that made up the Germany Stage (Final Stage) in both Viking Family Muscle tournaments. The obstacle required a pair of competitors to navigate a soccer ball pressed between two metal plates through a metal maze without dropping it.
The title is a reference to the 2006 FIFA World Cup, which was taking place in Germany about 3 months after the filming of Family Muscle.
The obstacle later appear in Muscle Park under the name "Ira Ira Heaven", using a basketball. The name is a nod to the event Ira Ira Bou, which appeared on TV Asahi's program "Ucchan Nanchan's Challengers of Fire: 1,000,000 Yen If You Can Do This!! (ウッチャンナンチャンの炎のチャレンジャーこれができたら100万円!!) between 1995 and 2001. Ira Ira Bou featured the same concept of running a metal bar through a maze. It is speculated that Ira Ira Bou also inspired Ottoto 9
