Will Dodd (ウィル・ドッド) is an American cartoonist who competed on two seasons of American Ninja Warrior and SASUKE 28.
American Ninja Warrior 4[]
Dodd made his rookie debut at the Midwest Qualifiers held in Dallas. His run would come to an end after he missed his three attempts at the Warped Wall.
In the Midwest Finals Dodd's run was digested. Unlike the day prior where he struggled with the Warped Wall, Dodd got up it this time in one try. His run was going well up until he got to the Lamp Grasper, where he was out of stamina and fell. His time was enough for 10th overall, advancing him to the National Finals.
In Vegas, Dodd would once again be digested. Dodd barely finished the course, only having seven seconds left on the clock.
On Stage Two, Dodd would face the Double Salmon Ladder, which would end his season.
American Ninja Warrior 5[]
Despite not being broadcast in any way or form, there are multiple reports from spectators and competitors from the Denver Qualifiers that claim Will Dodd did compete in season five. His run was all cut, but he had cleared the qualifiers, being one of the fifty that night to. Why Dodd decided to withdraw from the competition remains unknown to this day. Furthermore, why Dodd was never mentioned or included in a leaderboard or graphic will continue to be an unsolved matter. Another competitor that cleared the Denver Qualifiers who received the same treatment was Shaun Summers. Summers had cleared the qualifier course but sustained an injury that kept him from competing in the City Finals, which led to NBC erasing any mention of his clear. One could theorize this happened to Dodd as well.
SASUKE 28[]
Following Dodd's participation in American Ninja Warrior 4, he was invited to represent the United States of America in the upcoming Sasuke tournament, alongside Joe Lobeck. Dodd would not live up to expectations, failing the Rolling Escargot. His run was all cut, but can be found on SASUKE's YouTube channel.[1]
