American Ninja Warrior 10's Wheel Flip in Indianapolis
The Wheel Flip is an obstacle, firstly introduced as the third obstacle on American Ninja Warrior 10 in Indianapolis.
It consisted of a handle with two wheels, each wheel was placed at each of the end of the handle. Competitors must jump from the trampoline and grab the first wheel. Then, they must throw enough momentum to reach the second wheel (in a similar fashion to the Cycle Road, except the wheels didn't rotate), and then flip the handle along the track (in a similar fashion to the Rumbling Dice). After that, they must repeat this process again, and finally make the dismount to the landing platform. When the competitors flipped the handle for the first time, they must also overcome a flap placed at the top of the obstacle.
Most of the competitors failed on this obstacle because of either a bad bounce from the trampoline or losing their grip on the obstacle. In total, 22 competitors failed on this obstacle during Indianapolis qualifiers, including Jimmy Choi, Wesley Owens Jr., Meghan Anten, and Ron Zaagman.
During Indianapolis finals, six competitors fell on the obstacle: Nate Tackett, James Wilson, Jonas Duncan, Kyle Stradtman, Kourtney Timmons, and Meghan Anten (who failed on the same obstacle in qualifying).
Other Appearances[]
