Wakita Yasuhito (脇田 寧人) better known as Wakky (ワッキー) is a comedian and the reigning Geinojin Sportsman No. 1, an all celebrity version of Pro Sportsman No. 1.

Performance History[]

In his debut in SASUKE 20, he made it past the Jumping Spider and all the way to the Half-Pipe Attack. However, on that obstacle, he was unable to hold onto the rope and he fell into the water there.

In his next two attempts, he made it to Jumping Spider but failed each time. In SASUKE 21, he did not hit the trampoline properly and therefore was unable to get much height on the walls. He stuck, but only for a short time before falling off on to the mat in front of the trampoline. In SASUKE 22, he was able to successfully make it onto the walls, but after slipping for several moments, he fell into the water below.

In SASUKE 23, he started strong and managed to get revenge on the Jumping Spider and Half-Pipe Attack, however after that he took two tries to scale the Soritatsu Kabe and failed the next obstacle, the Slider Jump when he went too slow down the track and failed to even touch the net.

In SASUKE 24 he failed again on the Half-Pipe Attack when he overshot the landing and let go too late.

He returned in SASUKE 27 and performed much better than any previous attempt. He managed to clear the First Stage for the first time, doing so with a narrow window of 4.92 seconds left. In the Second Stage however, he struggled. On the first wall of the Double Salmon Ladder, his technique was poor and the bar consistently ended lob-sided, until his grip finally gave way on the third rung.

He returned for SASUKE 28. He performed well, clearing the Spin Bridge that had taken out veteran competitors without stumbling. He was also one of only 7 in that tournament to clear the Ni Ren Soritatsu Kabe, however on the Rope Ladder he failed to let go of the rope when approaching the net, and resultantly was forced back for another swing. This cost him valuable time and he eventually timed out on the net.

In SASUKE 29, he cleared the First Stage with only barely 2.4 seconds left, but he again struggled at the Salmon Ladder (now the Swap Salmon Ladder) and failed here at the third gap.

In SASUKE 30, he again cleared the First Stage with more time than last time. In the Second Stage, he again failed the Swap Salmon Ladder, by losing his grip on the third rung.

After five years, he returned in SASUKE 37, but sadly he was disqualified on the Rolling Hill when he used the mat in front of the rollers to support himself. His run was digested.

Ninja Warrior calls him "Wacky" which is the correct way to spell the word, but not the name. G4 tends to make mistakes like this so this should not arouse confusion.

Sportsman No.1[]

Wakky has competed several times in the Monster9's competition, Geinojin Sportsman No. 1. He has competed five times and won the last two competitions in the show's history, making him the reigning and last champion of the show. Due to this, he has competed on Pro Sportsman No. 1 four times.

DOORS[]

Wakky has been very successful with the Inui Masato's competition DOORS, an all comedian show. He won both the 2007 and 2008 competitions.
