American Ninja Warrior 9

Venn Johns comepted in ANW 9 in Denver. He was one of the many competitors that fell on the Bouncing Spider in qualifying.

American Ninja Warrior 10

Johns competed again in Dallas in American Ninja Warrior 10. He had a near stumble on the Bouncing Spider, nearly failing it a second time, but managed to recover and get his revenge on it. Venn later made it all the way to the Warped Wall, where he attempted the Mega Wall but failed. He later failed to complete the 14'6 wall, but ultimately placed 14th at the end of the night. In the city finals, his run was digested but it was shown that he failed Catch & Release after a poor dismount, and didn't advance to the national finals.

American Ninja Warrior 11

Johns competed again in Oklahoma City in American Ninja Warrior 11. His qualifying run was cut, but it was revealed that he was one of many to fail on the Diving Boards and he didn't advance to the city finals.

  • Venn Johns is one of three competitors in Dallas qualifying to have failed the Bouncing Spider in the previous season but complete it in Dallas, with the others being Jon Stewart and Garrett Takach. Coincidentally, Stewart placed 13th on the qualifying leaderboard and Johns placed 14th on the right behind Stewart.
  • Johns is also one of two competitors in American Ninja Warrior 10 to fail the Warped Wall in qualifying, with the other being Austin Gray. In both cases, this was due to the new rule that failing to scale the Mega Wall would result in only one attempt on the 14'6 wall, which both were unable to do.
