High Priority Maintenance Tasks

Intro
VIKING 2, like VIKING 1 and VIKING 3, took place in 2005, and aired on April 8, 2005. There were preliminary trials held before this competition. The First Marine Stage had no changes made to it, and combined with the number of challengers participated was increased to 100, the results were better than that of the previous tournament. As the weather was better, a Brain Ship stage was held. Eight made it to the Second Adventure Stage, which was toned down by making the Galleon lighter, thus no one failed it. However, the dreaded Rope Maze, which, had ended the tournament in VIKING 1, took out half of the competitors leaving only four challengers to take on the final obstacles, the Heavenly Climb eliminated two of the four and the Heartbreaker left only one man, Nagano Makoto to take on the Third Fantasy Stage, which he cleared, but he failed the Final Viking just five feet from the buzzer.

Brain Ship Stage
Competitors must draw lots to determine two teams of four (the others get free passes to the 2nd Adventure Stage). From these teams of four, competitors must memorize seven numbers that are shown for ten seconds. The person with the most mistakes is eliminated. If there is a tie, the competitors do one more round, this time with nine numbers and the loser of that is eliminated.
