Umeda Jun (梅田 淳) announced many VIKING competitions, as well as KUNOICHI 2007, and Pro Sportsman No. 1, Umeda was one of the announcers of the Fuji Television Network.
Umeda took the head announcer in the 7th competition of KUNOICHI, since Hatsuta Keisuke was unable to attend because of his prior commitments, after the third consecutive Kanzenseiha achieved by Miyake Ayako in the previous tournament, Hatsuta eventually returned as head announcer in the following tournament.
He is the Special Battle announcer from Pro Sportsman No. 1 2007.
