Tyler Cravens is a college student from Huntington West VA

Tyler first competed in Philadelphia in American Ninja Warrior 8. In qualifying, his run was cut but he was one of the nine athletes who defeated the Rolling Thunder and he finished the course with the eighth fastest time, both his and Michael Torres's finishes were cut from the broadcast. His run in the city finals was digested but it was shown that he failed the Wall Drop, (an obstacle he had gotten through back in qualifying), not making it to the national finals.

Tyler returned to compete in Cleveland in American Ninja Warrior 9, his run in qualifying was cut, but he finished the course, placing 13th. In the city finals, his run was digested but it was shown that he failed the Nail Clipper, Tyler did place 12th and he advanced to the national finals. His run on Stage One was cut but it was revealed that he failed the very first obstacle, Snake Run.
