Trevor West is a college student who first competed on American Ninja Warrior 10. However, before actually competing on the show, West has dominated local ninja competitions in Rockford against some of the more elite ANW competitors.
West revealed he was physically/mentally bullied in middle school. His traumatic experience in his middle school years ultimately led to him to start a future in Ninja Warrior training in his life.
American Ninja Warrior 10[]
Trevor West at the Indianapolis City Finals - American Ninja Warrior 2018
West first competed in American Ninja Warrior 10 in Indianapolis, at 20 years of age. His run was cut in qualifying, but he was one of many to fail the Spin Hopper in qualifying. West made it to the obstacle in a fast time, guaranteeing himself 12th overall.
In the city finals, he rose to the occasion, beating the Spin Hopper with ease. He later breezed through the back half of the course with finesse, becoming only the second competitor to pass Cane Lane. He later finished the course with the second fastest time; his time was only beaten by Ethan Swanson.
His run on Stage One was cut but it was revealed that he failed the Jumping Spider.[1] His completion on the Double Dipper that season was briefly shown in the demo for All Stars Special 3 during the intro of the supersized Big Dipper Freestyle tournament (although he himself did not compete in that tournament).
American Ninja Warrior 11[]
Trevor return to compete in American Ninja Warrior 11 in Cincinnati. His run was once again cut in qualifying but he managed to clear the qualifying course. He placed 8th overall.
In the city finals, Trevor's run was once again cut, but it was shown that he fell on the eighth obstacle, Slam Dunk. However, Trevor's time was fast enough to placed him 10th overall, advancing to Vegas for the second year in a row. This season, his regional results were the exact opposite from last season, as he completed the qualifier course but failed to complete the semifinal course.
On Stage One, he got past the Jumping Spider. However, he was one several to fail the Diving Boards.[2] He was briefly shown on an Instagram clip failing the obstacle, but his actual run in Las Vegas was once again cut. It is worth noting that out of all the finalists from Cincinnati, Trevor's run was the only one that was cut from the broadcast.
Trevor has announced taking American Ninja Warrior 12 off. He has not competed since.
