Think Tank is a team on the American Ninja Warrior team competition franchise. Team members have included Noah Kaufman, Matt Wilder, Asya Grechka, and Leila Noone. The name's reference means an institute of research, often for policy.
Team Ninja Warrior[]
The team first competed in Episode 4 with captain Noah and teammates Matt Wilder and Asya Grechka. They went up against the Wild Bunch in Round 1:
- Matt won the first race after Ben Melick fell at the Sonic Swing,
- Asya won the second race as Rose Wetzel fell at the Dancing Stones,
- Noah then won the anchor run against Lance Pekus.
They then went up against Karsonic Boom in Round 2:
- Matt won the first race against Brandon Berrett,
- In the second race, Asya Grechka and Beth Higginbotham both failed at the Warped Wall after 3 attempts. However, Asya reached the obstacle first. and won the second race,
- Noah lost the anchor run against Karson Voiles,
- But Matt Wilder won the sudden death match against Voiles.
Going up against Team Ronin in the relay showdown, the Think Tank lost because Asya got hung up on the Log Grip and they couldn't catch up after that, and the team was eliminated from the competition.
Team Ninja Warrior 2[]
The Think Tank returned for Team Ninja Warrior 2. They first competed in Episode 3 against The Superhero Squad:
- In the first race, Noah Kaufman had a strong lead against Sean Darling-Hammond, but failed to get up the Warped Wall and lost as Sean hit the buzzer,
- Asya fell on the Floating Tiles and lost the second race against Rachael Goldstein,
- Matt Wilder won the anchor run against Jamie Rahn, and
- Matt even won the sudden death match against Sean.
In the knockout round, the Think Tank went up against the Average JoJo's:
- Noah won the first race as Jimmy Bogle Jr. fell at the Floating Tiles,
- Asya lost the second race against Kirsti Pratt,
- But Matt Wilder won the anchor run against Jo Jo Bynum.
Proceeding to the relay showdown they went up against the Superhero Squad once again. But during the race, both Sean and Noah fell at the Bar Hop. Therefore, Jamie and Matt resumed the relay after a 5-second countdown. But Matt hit the buzzer first before Jamie and the Think Tank advanced to the finals.
In the finals, Think Tank went up against Team Ronin in Round 1:
- Noah lost the first race against JJ Woods,
- Asya lost the second race against Tiana Webberley,
- But Matt won the anchor run against Flip Rodriguez,
- Unfortunately, Matt fell on the Swing Jump and lost the sudden death match against JJ Woods, handing Matt his first loss in team ninja competition.
They went up against the Storm Team in Round 2:
- Noah fell at the Swing Jump and lost the first race against Josh Levin,
- Asya lost the second race against Allyssa Beird, and
- Matt fell at the Tire Swing and lost the Anchor Run against Joe Moravsky.
The Think Tank was eliminated from the competition.
American Ninja Warrior: Ninja Vs. Ninja[]
After the third season of Team Ninja Warrior was rebranded as American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja, Think Tank returned to compete, with Leila Noone replacing Asya Grechka from the previous two seasons. They appeared on Episode 8, going up against the Phoenix Force in Round 1:
- Matt lost the first race as Michael Torres beat him to the buzzer by 0.4 seconds,
- Leila Noone won the second race as Cassie Craig fell at the Tick Tock,
- Noah lost the third race against Najee Richardson,
- In the relay race, even though Cassie fell at the Tick Tock, the Phoenix Force still managed to win the race and the Think Tank was eliminated from the competition.
