Tenkubou (天空棒), named as the Skyway Pole in the G4 broadcast, was the final obstacle of the Final Stage from KUNOICHI 2003 to KUNOICHI 2006 Summer.
Effectively an adaptation/transplant of the Dashutsu Bou from KUNOICHI 2002, the obstacle was simply a pole 5 metres in height that competitors must climb and press the button to stop the clock and achieve Kanzenseiha. In contrast to SASUKE's Tsuna Nobori, the bottom of the Tenkubou was connected to the rest of the tower, making the pole decently stable to climb, thus the primary challenge would be for the competitors to keep their grip whilst climbing the metallic pole.
Despite being in place for a total of four tournaments, and conceptualized as an equivalent to the Tsuna Nobori for KUNOICHI, the obstacle presented little issue; Miyake Ayako managed to climb it three times in a row, albeit was also the only competitor to defeat it.
Eventually, the obstacle was removed for KUNOICHI 2007 in favor of the Tenkunawa, which was a 5-metre rope as opposed to a pole, though this obstacle would be unattempted and removed in favor of the Climb Board, which in turn would be replaced by SASUKE's Tsuna Nobori in the tournament after that.
