Team Alpha is a team in American Ninja Warrior's team competition franchise. Captain Brent Steffensen has been the only constant throughout all the team's appearances. Other members have included Kacy Catanzaro, Evan Dollard, Dillon Gates, Sydney Olson, and David Yarter. The name comes from the "Alpha Warrior" gym in Texas that Brent owns.
Team Ninja Warrior[]
Team Alpha made their debut on Episode 3 of Team Ninja Warrior. Brent Steffensen served as the captain, with the other two team members being his then-girlfriend Kacy Catanzaro, the first woman to ever complete a city qualifying course and a city finals course, and Evan "The Rocket" Dollard. They first competed in Episode 3 where they went up against Stratis Faction in Round 1:
- Evan Dollard lost the first race to Mike Bernardo,
- In the second race, Kacy Catanzaro and Grace Jones both failed at 3 attempts on the Warped Wall but Kacy was the first to reach the obstacle, therefore she won the second race,
- Brent Steffensen lost the Anchor run against Ryan Stratis.
Kacy Catanzaro vs. Luci Romberg - Team Ninja Warrior - American Ninja Warrior
They went up against Kevin Bull and his ExpendaBulls team in Round 2:
- Evan Dollard won the first race against Alan Connealy,
- Kacy won the second race against Luci Romberg who fell on the Dancing Stones. Kacy even finished the Floating Stairs and successfully scaled the Warped Wall this time around and hit the buzzer,
- Brent however, lost the anchor run against Kevin Bull,
- Brent had a rematch against Kevin in a sudden death race, Brent fell on the Dancing Stones and lost, therefore Team Alpha was eliminated from the competition.

Team Ninja Warrior 2 Lineup
After a disappointing performance in season 1, Team Alpha returned in Team Ninja Warrior 2. Captain Brent Steffensen and Kacy Catanzaro remained on the team, despite having ended their relationship since TNW1 ended, while Dollard was replaced by Dillon Gates, the same person that knocked Steffensen out of the top 30 in the Dallas qualifiers on American Ninja Warrior 6. They first competed in Episode 5 where they first went up against Karsten's Fast Kats:
Season 2, Episode 10- Kacy Catanzaro vs. Joy Strickland - Team Ninja Warrior
- Dillon won the first race against Kevin Klein who fell on the Ring of Fire,
- Kacy then won the second race against Joy Strickland,
- But Brent Steffensen lost the anchor run against Karsten Williams,
- Dillon then ran against Karsten in the sudden death race but lost as well.
In the knockout round, they went up against Storm Team:
- Dillon won the first race against Josh Levin,
- Kacy won the second race against Allyssa Beird who fell on the Floating Tiles,
- But Brent lost the anchor run against Joe Moravsky,
- In a rematch against Joe, Brent fell on the Ring of Fire, therefore Team Alpha was eliminated from the competition.
American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja[]
Captain Brent Steffensen brought back Team Alpha for American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja, with an all-new lineup. Sydney Olson replaced Kacy Catanzaro, who retired from the American Ninja Warrior, while David Yarter, formerly of TNW2's The Wings, took Dillon Gates' position. This newly revamped team first competed against The Ballers in Episode 6:
- In the first race, Brent had a strong lead against Lorin Ball but then he fell at the Floating Tiles and lost the race,
- Sydney Olson fell at the Tick Tock and lost the second race against Meiling Huang,
- But David Yarter won the third race as Paul Kasemir fell at the Flying Monkey Bars,
- But in the relay race, Sydney fell at the Sonic Swing which resulted in a 5-second penalty for Brent. The team lost the race and were eliminated from the competition.
