Tatayama Masaaki (立山 正明) is a Tile Craftsman and a former stuntman who would make his first appearance on SASUKE 3.

He cleared Stage One, but went out early on the Spider Walk in the Second Stage when he tried to rush and his left foot slipped, causing him to fail.

After 13 years and 25 tournaments of absence, he finally returned back in SASUKE 29. Unfortunately, his run would be cut from broadcast but it was known that he failed the Rope Ladder in that competition, through the official book.


Trivia[]

  • Tatayama would have one of the longest hiatus for a competitor in SASUKE, tied the record with Yoshinaga Katsumi with 25 tournaments.
    • Based on the tweet replied to one of Kane's Twitter post, Mishima Ryuhei would have a longer hiatus compared to the two with 30 tournaments, with him competed in SASUKE 6 in 2000 and would compete in SASUKE 37 in 2019 after 19 years of absence.
    • However, with the appearance of Kane Kosugi in SASUKE 40. Kane currently holds the record of having the longest hiatus for a competitor in SASUKE with 31 tournaments, beating Mishima Ryuhei's record.
