Tanaka Tomokazu (田中 智和) is a former Karate Instructor who is notable for being the first competitor to ever attempt SASUKE. Amazingly, he was able to clear every obstacle he had time to attempt, despite struggling on Sosoritatsu Kabe. He had a very interesting strategy on Yureru Hashi, placing one leg on each side and slowly sliding across to keep the bridge stable, in which this strategy was quickly obsoleted. However, as he was too slow throughout the course, he eventually timed out on Free Climbing.
Trivia[]
- He holds the record for the competitor with the most consecutive first clears on a new obstacle, clearing the first six obstacles in the first tournament.
