American Ninja Warrior 16[]
Sydney returned in ANW 16 in the sixth qualifier. She was the first runner shown, and she made it to the fourth obstacle, Heavy Metal, before losing her grip on the final jump. She placed 5th among the women, which put her in the runoff races against Sasha Moore, who placed 4th among the women, and was over a foot taller than her. During the runoff races, Sydney gained the lead on Flying Shelf Grab, which earned her the victory after Sasha failed the Wingnuts. Sydney later failed on Sideways, but was nonetheless awarded the runoff victory and ultimately advanced to the semifinals.

Both failed on the next obstacle, Sideways (which she failed during her runoff race previously), but because Sydney was faster, she won the race and advanced to the national finals.
At the national finals, Sydney was the first runner. She became one of the few women to ever complete the Jumping Spider. However because of her slow pace, she failed on the next obstacle, The Gambler as time was running out.
