The Swing Ladder (スウィングラダー) is an obstacle introduced into the Second Stage in SASUKE 20 to replace the Skywalk.
The Swing Ladder's function is very similar to the Tsuri Hashigo (which was firstly introduced in KUNOICHI 7's Second Stage), where a set of monkey bars must be crossed by the competitors. The monkey bars are set on a tilting mount on the scaffolding above, and swing substantially when competitors traverse them. Unlike its sister obstacle however, the bars were narrower, meaning that the obstacle did not swing about as severely. Towards the end of the obstacle, many competitors began attempting the obstacle sideways, similar to the style used to beat the Climbing Bars.
Of the 10 competitors who attempted it, no one ever failed it. Interestingly, although it was in place for three tournaments, Lee En-Chih was the only competitor to attempt it twice. It was replaced with the much tougher Unstable Bridge in SASUKE 23.

SASUKE Vietnam 5's Swing Ladder
The Swing Ladder (called locally as Đu Xà Qua Sông) appeared as the second obstacle in Stage 3 on SASUKE Vietnam 5, immediately following the Pole Maze.
However, to make the obstacle was easier than the one used in SASUKE, the ladder was made shorter and not tilting (making it slightly similar to the Climbing Bars, which was used as the sixth obstacle in the Third Stage from SASUKE 14 to SASUKE 18). After completing the Pole Maze, competitors had to traverse through the obstacle, and then reached the next obstacle, the modified Pipe Slider. There was a resting bar for the competitors to rest between the Swing Ladder and Pipe Slider. As the result, no one competitor failed on it.
