Super Ninja 2 (formally Суперниндзя - Новый Сезон, literally Super Ninja - New Season) was the second season of the unofficial successor to the regular International SASUKE/Ninja Warrior format in Russia, known as Ninja Warrior Russia (Русский ниндзя). The show was recorded in the town of Mineralnye Vody, Russia. This was the second season of Super Ninja that held in 2023.
The course on this season was also significantly altered to increase the difficulty. Unlike the previous season, the show used more obstacles that have been used previously on SASUKE or American Ninja Warrior before, such as Rollercoaster, Jumping Spider, Pole Grasper and Cliffhanger.
Qualifications[]
Similar to the previous season of Super Ninja, there would be a glowing ring hanging at the end of every obstacle, and competitors would be required to collect said ring at the end of an obstacle and to push it onto a pedestal in order to complete the obstacle, or (in case of the final obstacle) the stage. If any ring should fall into the water, the competitor would be disqualified. Top 10 competitors in each of the Qualifying Rounds (the 10 competitiors placed in the leaderboard shown at end of the round), i.e. either 10 finishers (in case of exactly 10) or the 10 *furthest fastest (in case of zero finishers), would advance to the Semi-finals of the same episode right after.
Also, the course on this season was also significantly altered to increase the difficulty. But unlike the previous season, most new obstacles in this Qualifications were have been used in SASUKE or American Ninja Warrior before, such as Rollercoaster into Wing Swing into Rumbling Dice, Broken Pipes and Ring Chaser.
*Note: In case of more than 10 finishers, only the 10 best finishers would advance, and in case of less than 10 but more than zero finishers, the along with the other finishers would advance.
