SASUKE[]
In SASUKE 38, he wore his highest number #74. There, despite showing struggle throughout the course, he stunned most people when he cleared First Stage, albeit doing so with a narrow 01.32 seconds left on the clock. In Second Stage, however, he had problem on the Rolling Log, as the log suddenly stopped in the middle of the track, making him almost losing hold of it. Even though he eventually recovered and made it all the way down, the dizziness greatly slowed him down and he heavily struggled when attempting Salmon Ladder Nobori, ultimately failing it after few seconds.
He completed again in SASUKE 39, wearing #20 where he once again cleared the First Stage with a narrow 1.69 seconds left on the clock. In the Second Stage, he did much better on the Salmon Ladder Nobori, but because he was moving slow throughout the stage, he later timed out at the Reverse Conveyor.
He returned to SASUKE 40, where he looked rather strong throughout the First Stage. However, when he got to the Dragon Glider, he suddenly dislodged the second bar, perhaps due to too much force from his transition from the first bar. He managed to get the bar back on the track, but with the bar not staying stationary due to the track being curved inwards, he couldn't swing himself properly to the end platform. Ultimately, with time running out, he made a last-ditch effort to try and make the jump anyways, but he missed and fell in the water below.
Sugeta would compete again in SASUKE 41 wearing #50. He was one of two competitors in that tournament to fail the Silk Slider. Sugeta managed to land on the dismount of Silk Slider, but as he rushed to the path leading to Fish Bone, he tripped on the sides of the transition platform and skimmed the water, in a similar fashion to Shingo falling on the plank of the Half-Pipe Attack in SASUKE 22.
Sugeta would compete once again in SASUKE 42, this time wearing #52. He avenged his two previous First Stage failures by clearing with two seconds left. On the Second Stage, he struggled with the Backstream and ended up timing out as he got to the Reverse Conveyor once again in a digested performance.
Sugeta would compete once again in SASUKE 43, wearing #62. He once again failed the First Stage as he failed on the DX.
