ANW6 Spikes into Cargo

American Ninja Warrior 6's Spikes into Cargo in Denver

Spikes into Cargo is an obstacle first introduced as the fourth obstacle on American Ninja Warrior 6 in Denver.

Competitors must jump 10 feet from the trampoline and used their both hands to grab a pair of cones. Then, competitors must build enough swing and momentum to make the transition to the next cone (the middle cone), and finally made the transition to the cargo net to reach the landing platform.

During Denver finals, the middle cone was removed, leaving an 8-foot gap from the spikes to the cargo net, this requires competitors to build a bigger swing and momentum to make the transition from a pair of cones, directly to the cargo net. As a result, the obstacle took out eight more competitors, including Carl Fantauzzo, Ronnie Shalvis, Jr., Yancey Quezada, Alex Manikowski, Josh Newhouse, and Meagan Martin.

A similarly made obstacle to this one was used as part of American Ninja Warrior 11's Power Tower at the end of each semi-finals episode.

NWI3 Spikes to Cargo Net

Ninja Israel 3's Spikes into Cargo

On Ninja Warrior Israel 3, the Spikes into Cargo, locally called טרפז לרשת (literally Trapeze to Cargo Net, not to be confused with the Trapeze to Cargo Net) appeared as the fourth obstacle of Heat 3 and Heat 7. The obstacle was paired with the Doorknob Arch as a part of Route A of the Crossroads. Unlike American Ninja Warrior 6, the obstacle featured a trapeze placed before the pair of cones, but the cones were moved much further from the trapeze, requiring a very far swing and a good grip to transition at the cones. This modification seemed to be brutal, as most competitors failed when transitioning from the trapeze to the cones.
