Sophia Oster is a physical therapy assistant from Columbus, Ohio. She first competed on American Ninja Warrior 10 at the age of 19.
American Ninja Warrior 10[]
Taking advantage of the new age limit this season, she first competed in Indianapolis in ANW 10. However, she failed Cannonball Drop, and didn't make the womens' top 5.
American Ninja Warrior 11[]
She returned in Cincinnati for her second season in season 11. Her run was cut, but she made it as far as the fifth obstacle, the Slingshot. Unfortunately, she was disqualified on the third obstacle, the Spinning Bridge, for using her hands on the platforms, which was not allowed.
Had she not been disqualified, she would have made the womens' top 5.
American Ninja Warrior 12[]
She competed in the fourth episode of qualifying in American Ninja Warrior 12. She was invited as part of Kid
On the course, she wore a dress on the course. This time, she once again made it to the fifth obstacle, doing so without being disqualified. She made it to Sideways, but her time did not land in the womens' top 3 at the end of the qualifier round. In fact, since she was the last female to run the course that night, her pace guaranteed Meagan Martin (who also failed the same obstacle as her) the final spot in the womens' leaderboard
American Ninja Warrior 13[]
She returned for her fourth season in ANW 13, competing in the fifth episode of qualifying. However, she struggled on making a choice at Split Decision, eventually opting to choose Block Run. The choice proved to backfire, as she later failed there. She was one of just four competitors the entire season to fail Block Run.
