Someya Koki (染谷幸喜) is a decathlete who competed three times on the show. He debuted in SASUKE 28, and became one of the only 5 people to clear the First Stage, with just 0.33 seconds to spare. Also, he was the very first person to clear a stage after Urushihara Yuuji's second Kanzenseiha, and was also the only non Shin Sedai member in the Second Stage. However, he failed the Swap Salmon Ladder. After missing SASUKE 29, he returned for SASUKE 30. He once again cleared the First Stage, however fell victim to the Swap Salmon Ladder for the second time, this time failing to reach the second level as he tried to do the reverse hand grip. In SASUKE 31 it was known that he competed as he was listed as #87, however his run was all cut and he was not included in the list of First Stage clears, so it is known that he failed the First Stage.
