The Snap Back is an obstacle, firstly introduced as the ninth obstacle during Oklahoma City finals on American Ninja Warrior 11.
The obstacle consisted of two sets of horizontal bars, each was placed on a seesaw (a similar mechanism from the Cargo Crossing). The second bar had Plexiglas behind it, requiring the competitors to grab the second bar by using a reverse grip.
In total, 11 competitors attempted the obstacle and 6 competitors failed to complete it, including Josh Salinas, Nick Fordney, and Jeff Harris.
Later on the same season, the Snap Back reappeared as the third obstacle in Stage Two, replacing the Déjà Vu from the previous season. This time, the obstacle only eliminated Dan Polizzi and Karson Voiles (who later completed the obstacle, thanks to the Safety Pass that he earned during Seattle-Tacoma finals).
