Slider Drop (スライダードロップ) was a Second Stage obstacle that introduced as part of Kanzen Renewal in SASUKE 25, replacing Downhill Jump that was used in every Shin-SASUKE tournament.
It was basically a hybrid of Stick Slider and Slider Jump. Competitors must jump up and latch onto a bar placed 5.5 meters (18.04 feet) above the water, then slide the bar down a track, which has one drop. The bar, even though it has stoppers on it, must be kept relatively straight in order for it to stay on the track. At the end of the track, competitors could let go and use the momentum to fall onto a landing pad.
In its debut, only Levi Meeuwenberg failed on this obstacle, and it eliminated no competitors in SASUKE 26, but three competitors failed in SASUKE 27, partially due to the modification with the first part of the track being more slanted, making the bar slide down the track faster. In that tournament, it would eliminate Flip Rodriguez and Shin-Sedai member Tajima Naoya. However, after Urushihara Yuuji's second Kanzenseiha in SASUKE 27, it was replaced by Cross Slider in SASUKE 28 as part of the renewal.
