Seth Rogers, nicknamed Big Red, is a college student from Pleasanton, California.
American Ninja Warrior 11[]
Seth competed in Los Angeles for ANW 11 at the now eligible age of 19. He made short work of the first four obstacles and had a smooth pace on the Spin Hopper before suddenly tumbling on the descent. Given his performance and quick pace, this was good enough for him to advance to the city finals at the 18th spot in the top 30.
His city finals run was digested, but it was shown that he made it to Leaps of Faith, before falling on the blind catch. He placed 8th overall and advanced to the national finals as a rookie.
Rogers in his rookie season made it past Stage One with less than 8 seconds left. Rogers additionally passed Stage Two as well, proving his potential of being a strong competitor in the competition.
On Stage Three, he was the only rookie competing. He performed strongly, getting to the second-to-last obstacle, Cane Lane, before he slipped off the cane at the middle of the course. He ended up as the top rookie of the season.
American Ninja Warrior 12[]
Before the season was altered, Seth received the call to compete in Los Angeles for this season.[1] Seth would eventually returned to compete on ANW 12 after the season was modified. He brought along Isaiah Wakeham and Ashley Wells as part of his team this season. However, he and his entire team's runs were completely cut from broadcast. It was confirmed that Seth failed Slingshot in qualifying and did not make the semifinals cut.[2]
He has not competed since.
Trivia[]
- He has the third best rookie performance out of all the competitors in ANW history, just behind Matt D'Amico in American Ninja Warrior 14 and Kaden Lebsack in American Ninja Warrior 13 besting Brent Steffensen's rookie run in American Ninja Warrior 2. He made it as far as the penultimate obstacle of Stage Three in American Ninja Warrior 11.
