This article describes how to add your fan speculation in Sasukepedia. Fan speculation can be stories, ideas, thoughts, or hopes for competitors and competitions; made up by viewers (fans) of Monster9's sports entertainment shows.

Content guidelines

Fan speculation is a very open field. The only thing we require is that fan speculation on Sasukepedia be about Monster9's shows, and be clearly marked as speculation (see Speculation policy). Think of the below guidelines as a smorgasbord that you can pick and choose from depending on what you want to do.

"What If?" fan speculation

Some readers prefer to speculate about what may or may not happen in future competitions.

One fascinating side to speculation is the "what if?" scenarios that play out very differently from what we know.

Do however consider pointing out in the introduction to your speculation that it is a "what if" scenario, or is otherwise incompatible with what will become official when broadcasts air.

Fan Speculation vs Fan Fiction

Fiction implies the fan's interpretation of a story that unfolds in an existing universe, such as Star Wars or Warcraft fan fiction. Fan speculation however, is more along the lines of what would happen if a fan were to interpret their own ideas of what could happen in a future tournament, or what could have happened given a competitor did something differently.

Here on Sasukepedia, we tend to favor fan speculation over fan fiction.
