Sam West is a paintball marshal who first made his appearance in Ninja Warrior UK 4. He made it to the finals, where he almost failed on the Log Runner, but eventually cleared the course. On the Second Stage, he went up a few rungs before derailing the bar on the Salmon Ladder and ultimately fell into the water.
Sam returned for Ninja Warrior UK 5, where he saved himself once again on the Spinning Log and Log Runner in the Semifinals and Finals (though he got disqualified for it in the Semifinals). He cleared the First Stage once again with more than a minute left and even cleared the Second Stage with more than 20 seconds left. However, Sam didn’t have much success on the Crazy Cliffhanger, failing the transition from 2nd to 3rd ledge.
