Sam Goodall, also known as the Tradie Ninja, is a carpenter from Albany, Western Australia, who firstly competed on Australian Ninja Warrior.
Australian Ninja Warrior[]
On Australian Ninja Warrior, Sam fell on the fourth obstacle (the Cargo with Laché) in his heat (Heat 3) and finished in 16th place. However, in his semifinal (Semifinal 3), he completed the course and finished in fifth place, despite his head was hit by the Big Wheel. During the grand final, he went out on the Jump Hang in Stage One.
Australian Ninja Warrior 2[]
On Australian Ninja Warrior 2, Sam once again fell on the fourth obstacle (this time, the Basket Toss) in his heat (Heat 2) and finished in ninth place. In his semifinal (Semifinal 4), he revealed a story that he was infected by Ross River virus, which affected his performance on the course. Despite that, he still made all the way to the eighth obstacle (the Hourglass to Tramp to Cargo Net) and finished in sixth place. During the grand final, despite competing while also battling with illness from the virus, he was able to complete Stage One with just about 1 second left. However, in Stage Two, after completing the third obstacle (the Spider Jump), since his stamina had already dropped because of that illness, he couldn't continue his run and then withdrew from the competition.
Australian Ninja Warrior 3[]
On Australian Ninja Warrior 3. Sam ran in Heat Five. He attempted to scale the Mega Warped Wall but was unable to scale it in the three attempts. In his Semi Final, he made it to the 7th Obstacle, the Salmon Ladder to Flying Shelf Grab. He fell on the Flying Shelf Grab part of the obstacle. In the Grand Final Stage One he made it all the way to the final obstacle The Chimney Sweep where he timed out with only one second left on the clock.
Australian Ninja Warrior 4[]
On Australian Ninja Warrior 4, Sam Goodall ran in Heat 3. He had the second fastest time of the night and faced Matt Filippi on the Power Tower, where he won the 10 second time advantage. In his Semi Final he completed the course in a time of 5:51 after his time advantage. In the Grand Final Stage One, things were going well until he struggled with the ring turn. He made it to the Ferris Wheel where he fell.
Australian Ninja Warrior 5[]
Sam would return for Australian Ninja Warrior 5.He would make it back to the Finals, but would rush Stage One and fell dangerously on the Trapeze Swing.
Australian Ninja Warrior 6[]
Sam would come back for Australian Ninja Warrior 6. He would return to the Finals but would fail early on Stage One once again on the second obstacle, this time being Eagle Claws.
