SASUKE Vietnam: Vietnam vs. The World 2 was the second installment of SASUKE Vietnam's international tournament. The tournament was premiered after the conclusion of SASUKE Vietnam 2's Stage 1B.

Competitors[]

Team Japan made their debut in the competition as the standalone team instead of being a part of Team International. Team International returned with 5 new competitors from other countries, with three competitors from the US and two competitors from the Southeast Asia countries. Team Vietnam featured four new competitors, Lê Văn Thực, Vũ Trí Mạnh, Trần Văn Anh, Nguyễn Việt Dũng along with Nguyễn Phước Huynh from the previous tournament.

Competition Format[]

One of the main difference in the competition format compared to the previous tournament was the addition of the time limit in the Stage Two and Stage Four. The competition format worked as follows:

  • Stage One to Stage Three
    • There were 5 heats in each stage. Only Stage 1B is used. Each heat consisted of 3 competitors (1 competitor from each team).
    • The competitors who cleared the stage with the fastest time would win the heat for his respective team. If no one could complete the stage, it would be a draw.
    • The first team to win 3 heats in each stage would receive points: 1 point for Stage One, 2 points for Stage Two, and 3 points for Stage Three.
    • If two teams were to win 2 heats each or three teams were to win a heat each, all teams would receive the same point(s).
  • Stage Four
    • This stage consisted of Spider Climb and Rope Climb, with 3 competitors (1 competitor from each team).
    • The competitor who finished the stage with the fastest time will get 4 points for his team.
    • The points would be accumulated among all stages, and the team who got the highest points would be the champion of the tournament. The winning team would get VND 50.000.000 cash prize, the 2nd place team would get VND 20.000.000 cash prize.
