SASUKE Vietnam: International Competition 2018 is the third installment of SASUKE Vietnam's international tournament, which was premiered after the conclusion of SASUKE Vietnam 4's Stage Two. The tournament was returned after SASUKE Vietnam: Team Competition 2017, the first ever SASUKE Vietnam's domestic team competition.

Competitors[]

Unlike the previous competition, the number of teams was increased to 4, with two teams from Vietnam (Team Vietnam 1 and team Vietnam 2) and two foreign teams (Team Japan and Team International). Each team consisted of 3 competitors.

Competition Format[]

As there were 4 teams competing on this tournament, there were some major changes in the competition format:

  • Stage Three:
    • The teams were drawn into two matches. This stage worked in a relay fashion (similar to Team Ninja Warrior's Relay Showdown round), with each member of the teams would tackle a few obstacles.
    • When one competitor of a team failed an obstacle, the next competitor would return to the starting line or the previous obstacle from the competitor cleared beforehand.
    • The team who completed the course (or made the furthest) in the fastest time would advance to the Stage Four.
  • Stage Four:
    • This stage consisted of Spider Climb and Rope Climb, with 2 competitors (1 competitor from each team).
    • The competitor who reached the top of the tower in the fastest time, his respective team would be the champion of the tournament.
    • The winning team would get VND 30.000.000 cash prize and a trophy, the runner-up team would get VND 10.000.000 cash prize while the rest would get VND 5.000.000 cash prize.
