SASUKE 42 (officially,「SASUKE2024」) was officially announced by TBS via Twitter and a trailer posted on the official SASUKE YouTube channel on April 13, 2024. It is the fourth tournament after Morimoto Yūsuke's second kanzenseiha.
Applications[]
The applications was announced on April 13, 2024 on their Official Website and Twitter. The deadline for the applications was on July 28, 2024. Similar to the previous year, the applications intended for senior high school students known as SASUKE Koshien 2024 (SASUKE甲子園2024) was released on April 24, 2024 on their Official Website and Twitter. The deadline for the applications was initially on July 14, 2024, later extended to July 31, 2024 with a similar format to the previous Koshien. In addition, the application of the SASUKE Trials was separately announced on August 27, 2024 and the deadline is slated for September 8, 2024.
