Intro
The 26th competition is the second tournament after Urushihara Yuuji's kanzenseiha in SASUKE 24. The tournament taped on October 19, 2010. The banners on the competitors' bibs read SASUKE2011, strongly indicating that the tournament will not air this year. Most speculation indicates that it will air in the first week of January. Photos of the course also show that the Jumping Spider and Half-Pipe Attack will return, as well as 3 new obstacles for the First Stage where the mats have changed back to red.
For the second time in three tournaments, no domestic trials competition ever materialized. East of the Pacific, however, a second American Ninja Warrior competition was held prior to this tournament (concluding the previous August), the first American trials since SASUKE 23, and similar to the first ANW, 10 competitors were sent. A Taiwanese trials competition was also planned, but was subsequently canceled.
