Intro

The 19th Competition, official name: 新SASUKE2007秋 (literally Shin-Sasuke 2007 Fall), is the second tournament since Nagano Makoto's kanzenseiha in SASUKE 17. Preliminary trials were held in Muscle Park (one representative) and in the United States (two representatives).

Every obstacle in the First Stage was either modified to make it harder or replaced outright with a harder obstacle:

The Rokudantobi was brought back to replace the Rope Glider, due to the fact that the Rope Glider had seriously injured some competitors.
The Log Grip's track was changed.
The Pole Maze was lengthened to make it tougher to maneuver the pole.
The Jumping Spider and Flying Chute were modified to become much tougher than in the previous tournament,
The Half Pipe Attack replaced the Bungee Bridge (which did not eliminate any competitor), and
The old favorite Soritatsu Kabe replaced the Great Wall, which was taller than in its last tournament appearance (in SASUKE 17).

With the course vastly altered from SASUKE 18, the results showed. The Jumping Spider nearly took out half of the field. The Flying Chute was particularly dangerous, as among the 14 competitors who attempted it, only 4 of them cleared. It was also where notable competitors like Nagano Makoto, Nagasaki Shunsuke, and Nagasaki Takamasa failed. Only 2 out of 100 competitors managed to beat the First Stage (Yamada Kōji and Washimi Yūji), the worst result in SASUKE history.

For the first time in SASUKE history, the last ten competitors (#91-100) failed. All 5 SASUKE All-Stars who competed in this tournament, failed at the First Stage for the very first time ever.

The two competitors that made it to the Second Stage, both failed on the Salmon Ladder (one timeout and one failure), with both of them had difficulty to make the transition to the final rung, marking the earliest end of a SASUKE tournament and the only one out of two tournament to end in the Second Stage.The other being kunoichi 1

Although no one advanced to the Third Stage, TBS showed which obstacles were there at the end of their broadcast, including 3 new obstacles (the Kudari Lamp Grasper, Devil Steps, and Sending Climber).
