ANW1 Rope Swing

American Ninja Warrior 1's Rope Swing

ANW2 Rope Swing

American Ninja Warrior 2's Rope Swing

The Rope Swing is an obstacle first introduced as the second obstacle on American Ninja Warrior 1 in qualifying and semifinal, and it appeared again on American Ninja Warrior 2, once again as the second obstacle in qualifying and semifinal.

Competitors must grab the rope and swing it across the water to reach the landing platform 20 feet (6.096 meters) away. Although the function of this obstacle was very simple, some competitors had to swing back to the starting platform because they were not successfully making the swing to the landing platform on their first attempt.

On American Ninja Warrior 6, the Rope Swing returned in the form of the Rope Swing into Cargo Net as the fourth obstacle in St. Louis. In this version of the obstacle, competitors must jump from the trampoline and grab the first rope. Then, competitors must build enough swing and momentum to grab the second rope, and then make the transition to the cargo net. Finally, competitors must climb down the cargo net to reach the landing platform.

SASUKE Vietnam 4's Salmon Ladder with Rope

On SASUKE Vietnam 4, the Rope Swing debuted in the form of the Salmon Ladder with Rope, locally Thang Cรก Hแป“i - ฤu Dรขy, appearing as the fourth obstacle in Stage 2 and replacing the Unstable Bridge from past three SASUKE Vietnam seasons. The obstacle is combined the Salmon Ladder with no rest.

Similar to the Rope Swing into Cargo Net during St. Louis qualifiers and finals on American Ninja Warrior 6, the obstacle had two ropes, with the first rope being shorter than the second rope. After reaching the fifth rung of the Salmon Ladder, competitors were now able to grab the first rope. And after reaching the second rope, competitors must swing it to reach the landing platform (similar to the original Rope Swing).

The Rope Swing part only eliminated Hoร ng Sa when he couldn't make the dismount.

SASUKE Vietnam 5's Rope Swing

Similar to Ninja Warrior Israel's version, the Rope Swing later returned as a part of the Salmon Ladder during Stage 2 on SASUKE Vietnam 5. This time, the material of the first rope had been changed, and the second rope had been shortened to make it the same length as the first rope.

This time, the Rope Swing part became much harder and more dangerous, as six competitors failed on it, even though it was very easy on the previous season. Many competitors struggled when trying to transit to the first rope, and some had run out of energy when transiting to the second rope. Also, several competitors were disaqualified for touching the Salmon Ladder's support structure when swinging on the rope.

NWIRope

Ninja Israel's Rope Swing

In Ninja Warrior Israel, the Rope Swing appeared as part of the Salmon Ladder with no rest during the semi-finals. Compared to the one used in SASUKE Vietnam 4, the obstacle featured three ropes (similar to the Jump Hang with Jungle Swing in Ninja Warrior UK 2, albeit with no cargo net at the end of the obstacle), with the first rope being the shortest and the second rope being the longest. Due to this, the obstacle was very brutal, as most competitors failed when trying to transit to the first rope, or some had run out of energy when transiting to the third rope.

The original setup for Rope Swing into Cargo Net before taping
