Ronald Washington is a fish and wildlife officer and five time ANW competitor. He first competed on season 8 of ANW in Atlanta.

He was given the nickname "Dynomite" in high school when, as a high school wrestler, he would slam opponents down with direct and powerful force.

American Ninja Warrior 8[]

He made his debut in Atlanta on American Ninja Warrior 8. While he was able to make work of the first three obstacles, he felt uncomfortable with the Spin Cycle, having trouble generating momentum between transfer. He ultimately tagged the water on the dismount, when he couldn't generate enough momentum on the last cycle from the landing platform.

American Ninja Warrior 9[]

He returned in American Ninja Warrior 9 in Daytona Beach. His run was cut, but he was one of 25 to fail the second obstacle, the Rolling Pin.

American Ninja Warrior 11[]

He returned in Atlanta for his third year competing. His run was cut, but he failed the Ferris Wheel. However, for the first time, he managed to move on to the city finals, as he placed 24th.

In qualifying, he was shown briefly at the end of the broadcast, where he was given the #3 Akbar Gbaja-Biamila Moment. On his run, it was shown that he slammed with such force on the Ferris Wheel that it caused a brief power outage.

During the city finals, he failed Up for Grabs. However, he placed 11th overall, and for the first time, qualified for the national finals.

On Stage One, he spun out on Tire Run, the wheel turned clockwise and his momentum slipped off in a digested performance.

American Ninja Warrior 12[]

He returned for his fourth season as a part of JJ Woods's team in the second qualifying episode. Once again, he failed the fifth obstacle, once again going out on the Ferris Wheel, and he didn't advance to the semifinals this time around.

American Ninja Warrior 14[]

After missing season 13, Ronald returned for his fifth season in the first qualifying episode. His run was cut, but he failed on Salmon Roll, making it his third straight season that he failed on the fifth obstacle during qualifiers. He still advance to the semifinals by placing 15th overall. It's also worth noting that he was one of the few competitors who attempted the Serpent at Split Decision and also clear it.

During the semifinals, although his run was digested, Washington pulled off big moves on the course, however speed eventually got to him as he fell on the fifth obstacle, Hopscotch. However, since only 14 competitors could complete the obstacle and he was the fastest to it, Washington qualified for the national finals once again.

His run at the national finals was also digested, but he tried to grab to the disc on Three Ring Circus with his legs, but he wasn't able to. He recovered and cleared the obstacle and he later failed on the Jumping Spider.
