Riley Porter is a high school student from Howell, Michigan, who first competed in American Ninja Warrior Junior.
American Ninja Warrior Junior[]
Riley first competed in Episode 1, specifically Bracket 2, of American Ninja Warrior Junior. In the Seeding Round, she faced off against Caleb Büttner, but Büttner beat her to the buzzer. For the Knockout Round, though, she lost to Ella McRitchie, knocking her out of the competition.
American Ninja Warrior 15[]
Riley made her American Ninja Warrior debut in American Ninja Warrior 15, competing in the fifth qualifier round. Her run was cut, but it was revealed that she failed Greased Lightning. Luckily, she got there fast enough to place 3rd among the women, advancing her to the semifinals. She later competed in the first semifinal episode, going up against her great friend, Emily Keener. Riley ended up winning the race after Emily failed on Hopscotch. She failed on the next obstacle, Slingshot, but nonetheless she still advanced to the national finals as a rookie. Her run on Stage One was digested, but she failed the Jumping Spider, ending her rookie season.
American Ninja Warrior 16[]
Riley returned for her second season on ANW 16. She competed in the fifth qualifier, where her run was digested, but she went farther on the qualifying course this time, making it to The Cubes before gassing out. She placed 2nd among the women and once again advanced to the semifinals. She later competed in the first semifinals episode, racing against Anabella Heinrichs. Riley lost the race after she failed on surprisingly failed on Sideways and didn't advance to the national finals this time around, while Anabella made it to Spin Hopper.
