Rigel Henry is a construction worker from Wilmington, North Carolina. Rigel Henry is best known for his battle cry “Skeeaap!” as well as his uncanny resemblance to Jeff Spicoli from Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
American Ninja Warrior 9[]
Rigel first competed in Daytona Beach in American Ninja Warrior 9. his run was digested in qualifying but it was shown that he finished the course placing 14th. In the city finals he was one of the many competitors that failed the Giant Cubes. He was able to place 9th overall and move on to the national finals.
On Stage One, he breezed through the first three obsatcles, but failed the Jumping Spider.
American Ninja Warrior 10[]
Rigel returned to compete in Indianapolis in American Ninja Warrior 10. His run was digested in qualifying but it was shown that he attempted the Mega Wall, but failed to complete it. He still cleared the course, finishing with the 7th fastest time of the night.
In the city finals, despite having trouble on the Spider Trap, he still ended up finishing the entire course placing 3rd overall. He was the only person in this year's Indianapolis competition to complete both the city qualifying & finals courses.
In Vegas, he most notably pinned his finisher's patch on his skin. Despite a confident start, he failed the Double Dipper, an obstacle that he had conquered the previous season.
He wasn't chosen to compete in American Ninja Warrior 11.
