Reid Pletcher is a U.S. Paralympic ski guide from Sun Valley, Idaho. Pletcher was a former Olympic skier, until a tragic rock-climbing accident ended his Olympic career.
American Ninja Warrior 8[]
Reid first competed in Oklahoma City in American Ninja Warrior 8, his run in qualifying was cut but it was revealed that he failed the fifth obstacle, the Bar Hop. Reid placed 23rd and moved on to the city finals.
During the Oklahoma City finals round, he got his revenge on the Bar Hop and cleared the Warped Wall. On the back half of the course, Reid cleared the Salmon Ladder but failed the Bungee Road after he was low on the first two and couldn’t hold on. However, he managed to place 12th overall and moved on to the national finals. His run on Stage One was cut, but it was later revealed that he failed the Jumping Spider. This was his only known American Ninja Warrior competition.
