The 2nd Sportsman competition, official name:「スポーツマンNo.1決定戦II」 (literally Sportsman No. 1 II) was the first Pro Sportsman Tournament. In a similar format to the previous Pro Sportsman Championship, various athletes from various sports would compete in a series of Sportsman events to gain points. The main difference between the Pro Sportsman Championship and this tournament is that the winner of the Pro Sportsman Tournament would be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
The event itself involves competitors pulling a rope that is connected to a heavy log resting on a small sled, with the winning competitor advancing to the next round. As the rounds progress, the number of logs per sled would increase, which would also decrease the track length in which competitors must drag the log. These matches would occur until the final round to indicate the Winner of the Event.

The event itself involves two competitors connected to a rope on their backs, with the length of the rope being shorter than the length of the entire track. Once a signal is played, competitors must run towards a buzzer that is in opposite directions of the track. The first competitor who presses the buzzer wins the match and advances to the next rounds of the event. These matches would occur until the final round to indicate the No. 1 of the Event.
