The Planet Bridge (プラネットブリッジ) is an obstacle firstly introduced in SASUKE 35's Third Stage as the third obstacle, ultimately removing the Drum Hopper Kai.

Competitors must wedge themselves to a series of six spheres 90cm apart and 30cm in diameter, with their hands and a flat board with their feet (in a similar position with the Body Prop). Once competitors placed their feet in the board, the foothold (the flat board) would move back and forth automatically and continuously by 20cm in between 140cm to 160cm (distance between the spheres and the foothold). The footholds distance was increased to 40cm in between 140cm to 180cm in SASUKE 36.

Due to competitors having to utilize the spheres using their hands, there could be ways on how to use them. Some would place their hands on the top of the spheres (in a similar fashion with the Drum Hopper), while others would put their hands in front of the spheres (having competitors to prop themselves in a similar position when the competitors attempted the Body Prop).

The foothold moving back and forth was proven to be a hassle for shorter competitors, halting their momentum as they traversed through when the foothold went further.

In its debut, only Hioki Masashi failed to complete the obstacle (he was also the first competitor to attempt the obstacle), while the other four remaining competitors who advanced to the Third Stage were able to complete it, with Drew Drechsel finishing it with a fast pace. In the next tournament, however, no competitor failed on the obstacle.

In SASUKE 38, Yamamoto Yoshiyuki used the obstacle as a means to rest before the Cliffhanger Dimension as a loophole to the stage's 30-second resting timer between obstacles.

Due to Morimoto Yusuke's second kanzenseiha and the very low knockout rate (only Hioki failed it), the obstacle is replaced by the Swing Edge in SASUKE 39, which took out more competitors in its debut.

KUNOICHI Appearance

The Planet Bridge appears as the fourth obstacle during the BLACK Stage (Third Stage) in KUNOICHI 2018, replacing the modified Cliffhanger. However, unlike in SASUKE 35, the obstacle didn't eliminate any competitor who attempted it.
