Phillip Kingsley was a college student and gymnast from Sacramento, CA, who has competed thrice on American Ninja Warrior.
He first competed on American Ninja Warrior 2. His run was cut from the broadcast, but it was revealed that he slipped on the fourth obstacle (the Spider Jump) and did not move on to the semi-finals.
He returned to compete on American Ninja Warrior 3 as a walk-on competitor in qualifying. He managed to easily the clear the first half of the course, but ran into problems on the Jump Hang when his feet got caught in the edges of the cargo net. However, he managed to recover and became the first of the day to clear the qualifying course. But sadly, he spent a lot of time showboating and resting between obstacles, and as a result, was not fast enough to make it to the semi-finals, placing 37th overall.
His final appearance was in American Ninja Warrior 4 where he competed in Venice. He was able to beat all of the obstacles and almost beat the Devil Steps, but he started to slow down on the decent and failed trying to rush the dismount.
