P. J. Granger is a construction worker from Bedford, Indiana.
American Ninja Warrior 7[]
In his rookie year, P.J. first competed in Pittsburgh as a walk-on. Here, he finished the course, being one of 22 finishers in the Pittsburgh Qualifier this season. His time finishing the course placed him 11th overall, advancing him to the city finals. He was the first finisher that was broadcasted on TV. Spectator reports on Sasukemaniac Forums reveal that he was the third competitor to run in the taping overall and ultimately the third finisher overall.[1] His raw run took place after Jazon Khazi and Todd Mitchell, both of whom completed the course as well.
In the city finals, he fell on the Floating Monkey Bars. However, Granger did well enough to place 12th overall and advanced to Las Vegas.
In the national finals, he failed the Jumping Spider on Stage One.
American Ninja Warrior 8[]
P.J. returned to compete in Indianapolis in American Ninja Warrior 8. In qualifying his run was digested, but it was shown that he finished the course, placing 18th.
In the city finals, he failed the Disc Runner, falling off-course, not making it back to Vegas.
