Ninja Warrior Switzerland 2 was the second season of the regular International SASUKE/Ninja Warrior format in Switzerland. The premiere episode of this season was aired on October 29th, 2019 at TV24. And while the hosts of the previous season, Chris Bachmann and Maximilian Baumann, also served as the hosts of this season, the sideline reporter of the previous season, Nina Havel, was replaced by Annina Frey.

This time, 160 competitors were at the start of the season, and were first spread across five different Preliminary Round episode parts (with 32 of them being in one Preliminary Round). After that, the best competitors of the five Preliminary Rounds would be spread across five Semi-finals episode parts (one Preliminary Round and its respective Semi-finals would be shown in the same episode) and the final competitors would then be spread across one Finals episodes which was aired on December 10th, 2019.

The Qualifications (Preliminary Rounds + Semi-finals)[]

The Preliminary Rounds were run over in five episodes in total. There were about 32 competitors in each of the Preliminary Rounds and the Top 10 competitors in each of the Preliminary Rounds (the 10 competitiors placed in the leaderboard shown at end of the Preliminary Round), i.e. either 10 finishers (in case of exactly 10) or the 10 furthest fastest* (in case of zero finishers), would advance to the Semi-finals right after.

Note*: In case of more than 10 finishers, only the 10 best finishers would advance, and in case of less than 10 but more than zero finishers, the furthest fastest along with the other finishers would advance..

The Semi-finals were run over in the same four episodes in which the Preliminary Rounds are shown, with one Semi-finals taking place right after the Preliminary Round it represents (so Semi-finals 1 would be hosted right after the Preliminary Round 1 in the same episode). There were 10 competitors in each of the Semi-finals and the Top 5 competitors in each of the Semi-finals (the five competitiors placed in the leaderboard shown at end of the Finals Qualification), i.e. either five finishers (in case of exactly five) or the five furthest fastest* (in case of zero finishers), would advance to the Grand Finals.

Note 2*: In case of more than five finishers, only the five best finisher would advance, and in case of less than seven but more than zero finishers, the furthest fastest along with the other finishers would advance..

The Semi-finals[]

The semi-finals are run over in 5 episodes and are shown in the same episodes as the qualifying rounds, with 10 competitors in each semi-final. The 5 fastest competitors who completed the course in each semifinal would advance to the finals. If more than 10 people finished the elimination track, time becomes the decisive factor, i.e. the faster the competitor managed the qualifying round - the better. If fewer than 10 people finish the elimination track, those who advanced in the shortest possible time will advance to the semi-finals. There was no time limit in semi-finals.
