Ninja Warrior Italia was the first season of the international SASUKE/Ninja Warrior format in Italy. The show was recorded at the San Siro Hippodrome in Milan. The premiere aired on October 18th, 2016 at NOVE. The hosts of this season were Federico Russo, Gabriele Corsi and Massimiliano Rosolino and the sideline reporter of this season was Carolina Di Domenico.
The competitor who would complete Mount Midoriyama and achieve total victory would receive a ticket in Las Vegas, United States. In addition, the Total Victory would be given an opportunity to become Italy's representative to compete in Las Vegas National Finals for American Ninja Warrior 7.
The Qualifications[]
The Preliminary Rounds (Qualificatorie) were run over in 5 episodes. Out of the 40, in each Preliminary Round participating competitors, the 15 best/fastest competitors of each Preliminary Round would advance to the Quarter-finals. There was no time limit in the Preliminary Rounds.
