Ninja Warrior Greece (Ninja Warrior Ελλάδα) is an allegedly forthcoming Ninja Warrior series. The series was originally licensed with filming and broadcast planned for 2015 on ANT1.
Production was initially postponed after acquiring the rights, and the broadcast date was finally revealed to the public as Fall 2018. Shortly after announcing the broadcast date, Ninja Warrior Greece fell once again into development hell, with production citing the weak Greek economy and the high cost of producing a large scale series with qualifiers all over the country. Staff stated that the show would need to be an unprecedented success or the show may risk a significant financial loss. In May 2021, the series was confirmed to be in late stages of production and a new broadcast date of February 2022 was revealed, however this date passed with no announcement. In December 2022, it was stated that the show would be airing in September 2023 with George Angelopoulos as host, but this once again did not happen.
In May 2024, it was confirmed once again that ANT1 continued to renew the license to Ninja Warrior Greece and that it would be the most expensive show produced in 2025, hosted by George Mavridis. It claimed that the minimum age would be 19, and that there would be over 100 competitors in each qualifier.
Due to the lack of progress and over a decade of production, it is widely believed that the show will be stuck in development hell indefinitely.
