Ninja Warrior Germany 3 (officially known as Ninja Warrior Germany - Die stärkste Show Deutschlands 2018) was the third season of the international SASUKE/Ninja Warrior format in Germany. The show was recorded in dm-arena - Messe Karlsruhe. The premiere aired on September 21st, 2018 at RTL. The hosts of this season, just as of the previous two seasons, were Frank Buschmann and Jan Köppen and the sideline reporter of this season was Laura Wontorra. Once again, out of the 13,000 applicants, 350 competitors would first participate across 7 Preliminary Round episodes, then the best competitors of the Preliminary Rounds would participate across 7 Semi-finals Qualifications episodes, then the the best competitors of the Semi-finals Qualifications would participate across one Semi-finals episode and the final competitors would then participate across Finals episode, which aired on November 16th, 2018.
The Qualifications[]
The Preliminary Rounds and the Semi-finals Qualifications were run over in 7 episodes in total, with one Preliminary Round and one Semi-finals Qualification being shown in the same episode and with each Semi-finals Qualification taking place right after the Preliminary Round it represents. Out of the 50 in each Preliminary Round participating competitors, the 20 best/fastest competitors of each Preliminary Round would advance to the Semi-finals Qualification. In the Semi-finals Qualifications, only the 8 best/fastest competitors of each Semi-finals Qualifcation would advance to the Semi-finals of the season. There was no time limit in both the Preliminary Rounds and the Semi-finals Qualifications.

The Finals[]
The Finals of this season was run over in 1 episode. Here, the 28 remaining participants would battle against four Stages, in order to become the first winner of Ninja Warrior Germany. However, since nobody managed to achieve Total Victory in the previous season, the cash prize for the winner of the entire season is not 200,000€ anymore, instead, the cash prize got increased to 300,000€.

The Last Man Standing cash prize[]
A new addition of this season of Ninja Warrior Germany is that, for the first time in Ninja Warrior Germany, the participant, who made it the furthest in the best time, the Last Man Standing, would receive a 25,000€ cash prize. This, however, would only apply to the case, in which none of the remaining participants managed to achieve Total Victory.
