Ninja Warrior Germany 10 (stylized as NINJA WARR10R GERMANY and officially known as Ninja Warrior Germany - Die stärkste Show Deutschlands 2025) was the tenth season of the regular International SASUKE/Ninja Warrior format in Germany, the fourth season since the Total Victories of Moritz Hans and René Casselly in Ninja Warrior Germany 6 and also the first ever anniversary season of the show. The show was recorded from June 18th, 2025 to July 4th, 2025 and it was recorded in MMC Studio (Coloneum), located in Cologne Germany, making it the sixth straight season to have been recorded there. And due to the fact that the COVID-19-pandemic did not pose a problem at the time of the recordings anymore, the different episodes were recorded with an actual audience again. The premiere episode of the season was aired on September 19th, 2025 at RTL. The hosts of this season, just as of the other seasons, were Frank Buschmann & Jan Köppen, while the sideline reporter of this season was Laura Wontorra.

This season of Ninja Warrior Germany is also the final one to have featured Frank Buschmann as the main commentator/host, as he will be stepping down from Ninja Warrior Germany entirely to focus on other new projects in his life.

This time, a 280 competitors were at the start of the season, and were first evenly spread across seven different Preliminary Round episodes. After that, the best competitors of the seven Preliminary Rounds were spread across two Semi-finals episodes (with one half being present in one Semi-finals episode) and the final competitors were then spread across two Finals episodes which were aired on December 5th & 12th, 2025.

The Castings[]

The casting phase of the ninth season of Ninja Warrior Germany officially commenced in October of 2024, and ended on December 31st, 2024. One major requirement was that the applicant must be at least 16 years old. However, applicants who are minors require the consent of their parents or a legal guardian. In addition, applicants must also include information on their fitness level and sporting backgrounds. Finally, a short description on why the applicant wants to participate in the season was needed.

The Recordings[]

The recordings for this anniversary season were carried out in June, and the episodes were aired from September 19th - December 12th, 2025.

The Qualifications[]

This time, the Preliminary Rounds were run over in seven episodes in total. There were about 40 competitors in each of the Preliminary Rounds and the Top 10 competitors in each of the Preliminary Rounds (the 10 competitiors placed in the leaderboard shown at end of the Preliminary Round), i.e. either 10 finishers (in case of exactly 10) or the 10 furthest fastest* (in case of zero finishers), would definitely advance to the Semi-finals. And just as in the few previous seasons, there was the additional special regulation that would make it easier for women to qualify for the Finals. This rule stated that if no female was ranked in the final regular Top 2 ranking, the Top 2 females outside of this Top 2 still got to advance to the Semi-finals. If only one female was ranked in the regular Top 2, then the special rule only applied to the next best female outside the Top 2. And if at least two females were ranked in the final Top 2, this special rule would no longer apply.

*Note: In case of more than 10 finishers, only the 10 best finishers would advance, and in case of less than 10 but more than zero finishers, the furthest fastest along with the other finishers would advance.

The Top 4 of each Preliminary Round would once again compete on the Super Salmon Ladder, locally called Endlose Himmelsleiter (literally Endless Ladder to Heaven in German), at the end of their respective Preliminary Round episode. Here, the Super Salmon Ladder participants would go one after the other, following the classic Ninja Warrior Germany All-Stars rules. The competitor who either completed the obstacle in the best time (in case of two or more finishers), or made it the highest in the best time (if two or multiple best competitors failed the exact same rung transition) would receive a cash prize of 5,000 €.

Meanwhile, the 2nd, 3rd and the 4th place of this Super Salmon Ladder would receive the following cash prizes:

  • The 2nd place would receive a cash prize of 2,500 €,
  • The 3rd place would receive a cash prize of 1,000 €,
  • And the 4th place would receive a cash prize of 500 €.

The Changes[]

New Additions[]

Extra Stage Qualification[]

In addition to qualifying to compete on the Super Salmon Ladder, the Top 4, and also the best female outside of the Top 4 (if no female was ranked in the Top 4) of each Preliminary Round, would qualify for an extra stage called "The Direct Path to the Finale".

Obstacles[]

Just as in the previous season, there were "new obstacles" in this season, i.e. obstacles which had already been in American Ninja Warrior before, but have never been used in any of the previous regular seasons of Ninja Warrior Germany.

List[]

The new obstacles used in the Preliminary Rounds of this season were the following:

  • TBA.

Removals[]

Super Salmon Ladder Speed Pass[]

As a result of the newly added extra stage qualification, the best competitor of the Super Salmon Ladder would not receive a Speed Pass anymore, meaning that the Top 4 of each Preliminary Round would only compete on the Super Salmon Ladder for cash prizes.

The Extra Stage - The Direct Path to the Finale[]

RTL+ Release Date: November 6th, 2025.
Original RTL Airdate: November 13th, 2025.

This brand new stage was run over in one episode in total. The stage was designed to be a pure test of finger & grip strength and endurance, as the stage's course would consist of ten grueling grip strength and technique-based obstacles that had to be completed without touching the ground at any given time (if anyone did so, they would be disqualified), making this special stage similar to the Burnout courses of the major Ninja Sport compeitions and a special challenge for the best of the seven Preliminary Rounds. However, to in order to keep the stage from being too difficult, there would be three so called rest points, on which one could rest for about 30 seconds, scattered across the course (between obstacles 3 & 4, 6 & 7 and 8 & 9). There were about 35 competitors in this special and the Top 9 competitors (the 9 competitiors placed in the leaderboard shown at end of the special), i.e. either 9 finishers (in case of exactly 9) or the 9 furthest fastest* (in case of zero finishers), would receive a Speed Pass, meaning that they would automatically qualify for the First Stage. In addition, the best of this entire special would receive a cash prize of 10,000 €. And apart from that, there would be a non-Top 9 female special regulation. This rule stated that if no female were ranked in the final regular Top 9 ranking, the Top female outside of this Top 9 would also receive a Speed Pass. If at least one female were ranked in the final Top 9, this special rule would no longer apply.

*Note: In case of more than 9 finishers, only the 9 best finishers would advance, and in case of less than 9 but more than zero finishers, the furthest fastest along with the other finishers would advance.

The Semi-finals[]

The Semi-finals were run over in two episodes in total. This time, however, the format would be reverted back to the one utilized in Ninja Warrior Germany 5, meaning that there would be two completely independant Semi-finals episodes, with each of these episodes featuring its own course (Semi-finals episode 1's course would be different from that of Semi-finals episode 2) and its own final leaderboard (which would be shown at the end of the respective episode). There were about TBA competitors (TBA Semi-finalists and TBA of the TBA Speed Pass winners) in each of the Semi-finals episodes and only the Top 14 competitors of every episode (the 14 competitiors placed in the leaderboard shown at end of their respective Semi-finals episode), i.e. either 14 finishers (in case of exactly 14) or the 14 furthest fastest* (in case of zero finishers), would advance to the Finals of the season along with the TBA Speed Pass winners, meaning that TBA athletes would qualify for the Finals.

In addition, there would once again be the Speed Reward cash prizes. This means that the Top competitor of the Semi-finals (this would also apply to the case in which a Speed Pass winner was placed on this podium) would receive a cash prize of TBA €, the second best competitor would receive a TBA € cash prize and the third best competitor would receive a TBA € cash prize.

Just as in Ninja Warrior Germany 9, there was the additional special regulation that would make it easier for women to qualify for the Finals. This rule stated that if no female was ranked in the final regular Top TBA ranking (the leaderboard shown at end of the second Semi-finals episode), the Top TBA females outside of this Top TBA still got to advance to the Finals. If only one female was ranked in the regular Top TBA, then the special rule only applied to the TBA best female outside the Top TBA. And if at least TBA females were ranked in the final Top TBA, this special rule would no longer apply.

*Note: In case of more than 14 finishers, only the 14 best finishers would advance, and in case of less than 14 but more than zero finishers, the furthest fastest along with the other finishers would advance.

The Finals[]

The Finals was run over in two episodes in total. Here, the 39 (28 non-Speed Pass winners + 10 Speed Pass Winners + one female who needed the special rule for the Top female outside the Top 14 of the Semi-finals) remaining participants would battle against the four Stages, in order to become the second winner of Ninja Warrior Germany, a 300,000 € cash prize + the title "2. Ninja Warrior Germany". Once again, if none of the remaining male participants would manage to achieve the sole Total Victory / win the show or if a female competitor would manage to win the show, the male participant who then either made it the furthest, or the furthest in the best time (in case of two or more competitors failing at the exact same point), the Last Man Standing, would receive the aforementioned title plus a 25,000 € cash prize. In addition to that, the Last Woman Standing of the season, i.e. the best female athlete of the entire season who would not manage to win the show, would also receive a 25,000 € cash prize.

Because of this, Kilian was allowed to re-run from this point onwards and the timer was reset to the exact amount of time he had when he made it to the obstacle.
