Nejireta Kabe (ねじれた壁), called Crooked Wall in English broadcasts, is an obstacle introduced in SASUKE 13's First Stage redesign. In order to proceed, the competitor must run up a twisted, concave wall and jump off the side to grab a see-saw rope that then descends and leads the competitor onto a landing platform. Nejireta Kabe made the next obstacle, Soritatsu Kabe, slightly easier, because the competitors had more room to gain more speed on the landing platform.

It eliminated some top competitors like Nagasawa Hidenori, Akiyama Kazuhiko (both in SASUKE 13), and Kobayashi Shinji (in SASUKE 15). However, its high clear rate make it replaced with combination of Rope Reverse and Reverse Fly in SASUKE 16.
