Nathan Tucker is a biology student and former navy veteran.
American Ninja Warrior 7[]
Tucker had first competed in San Pedro in American Ninja Warrior 7. In qualifying, his run was cut but it was revealed that he failed the I-Beam Cross but placed 11th overall at the end of the night.
In the city finals, he failed the Salmon Ladder but placed 14th overall and moved on to Vegas.
His run on Stage One was cut, but it was revealed that he finished the course with 4.66 seconds left. What made Tucker's clear so special was that he was the first runner of the entire taping. With Tucker's Stage One clear, he became the first kick-off clear in ANW history. Competitors were initially confused by what had just happened, thinking Tucker was a course tester and not a competitor himself.
His Stage Two run was cut but he failed the Unstable Bridge.
American Ninja Warrior 9[]
Nathan returned in American Ninja Warrior 9 in Kansas City. Although his run was cut, he couldn't even pass the first obstacle in qualifying, going out extremely early on the Floating Steps.
