Mountain Flag (マウンテンフランク) was the first event introduced in the first ever tournament of Sports Danshi Grand Prix, which was a reboot version of the former Sportsman. This event bears resemblance of Beach Flags, a notable Sportsman event.
This event involves a group of four competitors to dash and climb atop a 10 metre steep hill as fast as possible in order to grab a flag situated at the very top. There is a rope hanging halfway down the hill to aid competitors for climbing up the hill faster. The winner of each heats move on straight to the finals. As a side note, the routes were painted red-black, making it look like the carpet used for the First Stage in the Shin-SASUKE era.
This event would appear in the first three Sports Danshi Grand Prix tournaments.
